Centenary Hospital for Women and Children Expansion

The CHWC Expansion Project encompasses both the delivery of new buildings and the refurbishment of the existing Building 11 at Canberra Hospital, all aimed at addressing the increasing healthcare needs of the community. These new additions include an Adolescent Mental Health Day Stay and Adolescent Unit, Neonatology Support, Meeting Rooms and Clinical Administrator, Antenatal Inpatient Unit and Early Pregnancy Unit, Special Care Nursery and Neonatology Family Support and a Maternity Assessment Unit and Gynaecology Procedure Room.

Each specialised area has been thoughtfully designed to cater to the unique requirements of women, children, and adolescents. By integrating advanced medical technology, comfortable patient settings, and efficient clinical administration spaces, the CHWC Expansion Project will greatly contribute to providing high-quality healthcare services for the Canberra community and ensuring the well-being of women and children for years to come.
