Shoalhaven Hospital

The redevelopment is transforming Shoalhaven Hospital into a major health hub for the region, centered around a new seven-storey acute clinical services building directly connected to the existing facility. This expansion significantly boosts local capacity by introducing a new emergency department, doubling the number of operating theatres, and providing the region’s first dedicated cardiology inpatient unit and rooftop helipad.

Designed with a strong focus on the NSW Government’s “Connecting with Country” framework, the project integrates landscaped green spaces and cultural narratives to create a healing environment that supports both physical and emotional wellbeing.
