Sydney Childrens Hospital

The redevelopment delivered the new Bilima Building, which features an emergency department three times larger than the previous one. Key clinical additions include an enhanced children’s intensive care unit, a dedicated neurosciences centre, and a medical short-stay unit.

The facility also houses the Minderoo Children’s Comprehensive Cancer Centre, Australia’s first fully integrated paediatric cancer centre that brings researchers and clinicians together to accelerate treatment discovery. To support families, the building incorporates single-patient bedrooms with dedicated space for carers and multiple indoor and outdoor recreational areas
